Today we had an exclusive chat with Suzanne's husband about how she is getting on in the house and what this years best game player is really like.
Hello, David. Thanks for joining us for this chat.
No problem, thanks for having me.
First of all, how do you think Suzanne is coping in the house?
I think she is doing amazingly well! She's the strongest woman I know so I always knew she was going to be able to cope with the experience but I never expected her to stay this tough and to stick with her game plan for so long.
Suzanne seems to be playing a brilliant game. She's only received one nomination!
I know, it's fantastic. She's managed to avoid going up for the viewing vote for weeks and I think she will continue to do so for quite some time. I'm really proud of her.
What is the real Suzanne like?
She's a tough but a very loving woman. She's the nicest woman I've ever met in my life and I'm not just saying that because I'm married to her. Everybody loves Suzanne and some people are shocked that she feels the need to play a game but she's got good reasons.
Why is she playing a game?
Suzanne is lovely and if she was herself in there she'd be able to reach the final few weeks easily but she knows that nice middle aged people NEVER win. She thought if she played a game and then reached the final few weeks people would be more likely to vote for her to win than if she was herself. I think she's quite right, the winners are always young but by doing this people may respect her for playing such a blinder.
Do you think there are some people in the house she actually cares about?
Suzanne cares about everyone in all seriousness, but she hasn't entered to make friends. I think she does geneuinely care about some people in there like Justin, Ashlee, Jodie and Beth and she seemed quite sad when Paige was evicted too but she's in there to win and for her one person out is a step closer to the final and one hundred thousand pounds.
Do you think there's somebody she actually doesn't like?
Yes, I can tell she hated Sugar. I really could. When Sugar was being nasty I caught little glimpses of Suzanne's face and it just showed how strong she was into not saying anything and keeping Sugar as a friend in the house.
Do you not think Suzanne and Sugar will be friends on the outside?
Nope. I wouldn't want Sugar in my house - she's vile! I don't think Suzanne would be inviting her round for Sunday dinner. I'm sure she will for mostly everybody else if they can forgive her for playing a game.
Do you think they will be understanding?
If she gets exploited in the house then no but on the outside I think people will respect the fact it's a game show and it's fair if you go in with a game plan. I've spoken to Paige and she totally respects it, in fact she was so impressed that she's backing her to win! Sugar, on the other hand, took it to heart and had some not very nice things to say but I doubt Suzie will care in all honesty.
Finally, do you think she can win it?
I hope so! I hope SimTV viewers find her game playing entertaining and realise that she would be a worthy winner.
Thank you for speaking to us, David.
Any time!
